ASSOCIATE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CFO FOUNDATION- The Associate Executive Director and CFO for the MWSU Foundation provides vision, leadership, and strategic recommendations to the Foundation Board of Directors and the Vice President for University Advancement and Executive Director of the Foundation. Effectively supervise, direct, and organize the day-to-day operations of the Foundation team. This individual will serve as a management liaison to the various MWSU Foundation Board Committees by effectively communicating and presenting critical financial matters. Responsible for the compilation and accuracy of the financial statements to include preparation and completion of the annual audit in coordination with third party auditors. Serve as the database administrator by maintaining the integrity of both the donor and financial databases. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and monitor the use of all funds in accordance with donor requirements. REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and CPA, with a minimum of two years of higher education or non-profit accounting experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. PREFERRED: Master’s degree in related field. Accounting procedures in education or non-profit organization (fund accounting), supervisory experience, and knowledge of Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge software.
