Full-time Tenure-Track Position in Accounting It is an exciting time in the Columbia College School of Business Administration. The newly formed School is looking for enthusiastic, innovative, qualified faculty interested in growing and building the School and its programs. The School is focused on programs that are relevant for today’s students and tomorrow’s workforce. We serve a diverse student body of traditional, adult, and online students. The School is committed to seeking accredited status with IACBE within the next one to two years. The Columbia College School of Business Administration is currently accepting applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in accounting beginning in the 2017-18 academic year. Minimum requirements are an MBA or masters in accountancy from an AACSB accredited program plus a current professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Preference will also be given to applicants with demonstrated successful teaching experience and/or real-world experience in the field of accounting. This is a full-time position in the undergraduate day program on the campus in Columbia, Mo. with a twelve/twelve credit hour load during a nine-month academic year. There may be additional opportunities to teach at the graduate level, depending on the candidate’s qualifications.
