Coface is seeking a Full-Time Claims Analyst to join our Claims Team
Location: East Windsor, NJ
The Claims Analyst is responsible to adjust claims and calculate indemnities for policies according to individual delegation level and in accordance with applicable legal requirements, policy terms and conditions as well as Coface Group rules and procedures.
Analyze relevant documents and evaluate the validity of the claim.
Discuss results with external and internal parties and determine solutions.
Develop proposals for further procedures when exceeding own delegation.
Establish and maintain updated reserve of each claim using the dedicated claims tool to ensure the accuracy of the financial information provided.
Prepare the indemnities on time in order for claims to be verified and the payment released by analyst with the adequate delegation.
Provide documents to debt collection area to support collection with the debtor or to file a legal action.
Monitor the status of claims.
Take prompt appropriate action to maximize recoveries.
Communicate with clients and brokers preferably by phone and/or email in order to build relationships and provide clarity.
Correspond with policyholders, brokers, lawyers and internal contacts and take ownership of resolving their queries.
Improve customer satisfaction (availability, professional communication).
Assist the client /partner explaining and clarifying the reason for non-covered claims.
Initiate claims meetings with policyholder/broker/partner.
Organize the activities of the indemnification with the aim to maximize the percentage of claims paid within the established parameters.
Assist the client, broker, lawyers and internal contacts providing advice on issues relating to the management and settlement of claims, acting as an available and professional contact person.
Interact with the Debt Collection Department in identifying the most appropriate actions to take in recovery activities.
At least 1-2 years of claims adjustor experience or experience in a comparable role within the trade credit insurance industry. Current valid state adjustor’s license strongly preferred.
