Stryker's Flex Financial team is a vital way for customers to get the equipment they need! The Flex Financial products provide a range of smart alternatives designed to fit each organization's needs. Products include traditional capital leases and operating leases, deferred payment programs, and customized programs.
The Credit Analyst is responsible for reviewing and underwriting financing requests, thereby determining that the customer has, and will have in the future, the means to repay equipment loans and leases originated by Stryker. Responsibilities include working with and advising internal and external sales staff on lease structure and pricing as well as working with and utilizing our funding banks to maximize the effectiveness of our finance offerings.
Perform credit investigation, financial statement analysis, and write-up’s on assigned transactions
Recommend credit decisions, in accordance with predefined risk acceptance criteria.
Serve as a primary interface with Stryker Sales, Regional Finance Managers, customers, and funding sources on day-to- day credit operations
Meet and exceed all service-level and business metrics for the areas of responsibility
Provide various reports as needed for business performance management
Insure accuracy of proposed structures and finance pricing by verifying the proposed structure, finance discounts and transaction pricing is accurate and acceptable to lending partners.
Perform necessary credit investigation.
Assist internal Stryker Flex Financial group to obtain final purchase orders from lending partners.
Manage the flow of the transactions as a central point of contact between Stryker Flex Financial internal and external sales force and lending partners.
Assure Stryker Corporation that funded transactions are within terms of its vendor partner program
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related discipline.
A minimum of 1-3 years of commercial underwriting experience within a bank or leasing organization
Experience in the Healthcare/Medical Industry is preferred
Loan or lease structuring experience is preferred
Knowledge of legal terms for all lease and finance type structures
Proven expertise with software accounting and tracking systems
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communications skills
Proven ability to work within a dynamic team environment
Strong customer service skills are required
Excellent analytical skills High attention to detail
