If you're at the start of your journey in industry, then this is the perfect position for a First Mover from Audit / Business Services OR a technically strong accountant already operating within a commercial environment.

You will receive career development and training from multiple senior leaders within the business including the FC and CFO. The business operates across Australia, is stable, growing, and you'll find that you'll learn a huge amount in a short space of time.

It's a business that is packed full of outstanding finance professionals with a mix of backgrounds that includes Big 4, mid-tier, and industry. Therefore, regardless of your background, there will be someone in the business who has taken the same path as you and is on hand to offer guidance and advice.

Your Role:

If you like variety and learning, then this position is ideal. Whilst a Financial Accountant at its core, you will be assisting with budgets and forecasts which will strengthen your all-round skill set.

You will be involved with:

• GL reconciliations, journals & accruals
• EOM reporting
• Financial Reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Assisting with Fixed Assets
• Assisting with budgets & forecasting
• BAS, PAYG, and Payroll Tax
• Assisting the audit process
• Be part of system improvements and process enhancements
• Assisting with financial analysis

About You:

We're open to two profiles for this position.

You can be a first mover making your way from Audit or Business Services.

Or you can already be industry with the technical skills required.

However, you must be either a fully qualified accountant or close to completion (rather than just starting).

• CA / CPA qualified (close to completion)
• Strong understanding of AASB requirements (must have)
• ERP exposure
• Comfortable operating in Excel
• Strong communication
